I'm with you though, the extra cars would be sweet especially being hondas. However the added chaos may be a little much. Because there will be a shiatload. So let's just to stick to our dates and if they come they come.

So far the weekend has a busa meet/bmw met/ and small bike club scheduled.

Well those clubs I posted are small and shouldn't bring much to be in the way. It'll be fun. I've been during HUMUNGOUS gatherings such as carolina mustang meet and it actually wasn't bad or anything different from the norm.

I don't know what I am doing yet (kind of like last time), I know if my aunt finds out that I came down and didn't stop to see her she will be upset so, we'll see as time comes closer. Thanks !

Speaking of Gay, those dudes are being kind of that with the date of the meet. The thread isn't really that active which makes me believe there is a lot of planning going on privately, which means they are being kind of selective on who they want to come.

I say, we keep our date and if they show fine and if they don't fine again. I had a blast last time and I'm sure I will again and we are going to have a few more members this time as well so it should be a nice little turn out. It's about the quality and not the quantity of people that show that makes for a good time.

sounds like a plan, we'll stick with our original dates and not worry about S2KI. if they show up, cool, if not, more road for us

what's that other road that's in that area? the one where the sign said 40 miles no gas, cherohala skyway? it might be cool to check that out this year.

Yea I saw that. When I got home I was looking for other roads and ran into again and found some maps, looks pretty nice.

Looks like the North Carolina side is the better side and it may have a couple nice places to park and take some pics. Going to try and search to see if I can get some pics of that stretch.

on tailofthedragon they had some good info on the road. seems kinda like the blue ridge, work your way uphill to about a mile up then come back down.

I'm not remotely excited about the s2ki guys being there. All of their online personas make them out to be extremely cocky and very self centered towards only people in S's. Oh well.
