OK so if we are leaving for Robbinsville on Saturday morning for sure that works out good for me. I plan on leaving early Friday morning this time with hopes of beating out some traffic, mainly from NY and NJ and that should get me into NC sometime early/mid evening on Friday.

I might just crash by my aunts again not sure but she is closer to Eric's now in Cary, so it shouldn't take me so long to get there Saturday morning if I do crash there. Might just crash at the hotel by Eric's and meet my aunt and her husband for dinner Friday night, not sure yet but I guess there's time to work all that out anyways.

last year me and Ant drove up on thursday and crashed at Eric's, that gave us an extra day to chill with the redneck really it's best if everyone meets up either Friday after lunch sometime or first thing Saturday. we really need to leave Saturday on time so we can take our time getting to Ashville for lunch. that will give us more time to play on the Blue Ridge and get out to robbinsville in time for some cool group pictures and dinner. last year we got a late start and that kinda owned our group shots and dinner was real late.

Funny thing is... I just got my bumper back just this Wed from getting repaired and painted from our last trip to the dragon

I say we make Al sleep outside of my house in the driver seat with the key in the ignition friday night. That way we can just blow our horns and he'll be ready. How bout you don't stay at your aunts this time!?!!?

Cary is actually on the way out west of me so you could meet us in the morning at the same gas station or out in cary right off i-40.

I think ant said it, but damn there is going to be some hella sick fast cars this year!

LoL...ouch ! It wouldn't have been so bad if I gotten more than 3 hours sleep before I left and I didn't get owned by traffic on the way down and getting 3 hours sleep before meeting up with you guys on Saturday morning. This year i'm getting good sleep before I leave, leaving earlier to beat the traffic so I should get there earlier and I will get good sleep so we should be all good. Going to order my E-Z pass right now so I don't have to mess around with lines paying for tolls either.

Hell yea there are going to be some sick fast cars, if all goes well there will be 600+whp Mustang coming along with me as well

OwNeD I have a feeling this year will go more smoothly

we'll also be going up with hundreds of exra horsepower between everyone it might take another stop or two for gas to get out there

On the way back from NC last time I stopped soon as I crossed the line into Virginia to get gas. Went from Virginia to NJ just passed Atlantic City. Stopped cause I was hungry, pulled into the parking lot went 303 miles and the tank was a line under halfway on the gauge, went to the pump to top off before getting back on the highway took just under 7 gallons of gas....tank is 11.9 gallons...figure it out

I was doing 32mpg on the highway at 85mph. if I drove 60 maybe I would get near 40mpg, but 60mph is gay

all I know is everyone is going back with more horsepower so if the right foot is having fun we'll be killing gas, not like the mustang, but still killing gas

14.0:1 - 13.8:1 at 75-85mph

I didn't kill as much gas as I would have liked too at the gap last time cause of my damn running hot condition hopefully this year is different

Im fckd if I want to run 21lbs because I think I get around 7 mpg on C-16 (117oct), and for 5 gallons its around $85
I guess 12lbs on 93oct will have to do till we get down there. Maybe I'll bring one 5 gal. drum with me just for fun! Ah who am I kidding of course I will

If you're getting mileage like that you might wanna go easy on that stuff when we get up in the mountains cause our cars run pig rich 6000 feet up in the air

the AEM with the wideband was doing a decent amount of correcting to keep my A/F ratios in check, more so on the Blue Ridge than the Dragon
